Residents committed to 6-12+ month stays — typically professionals settling into new cities, sabbatical takers, or international residents on multi-year visas. Demographics span 25-50 with a mix of nationalities and career stages.
Larger private rooms (most operators reserve their best inventory for long-stay residents), full kitchen access including dedicated shelf space, community programming that assumes deep relationships will form, and renewable leases with rent stability.
Choose long-term coliving when committing 6+ months in advance unlocks better inventory and pricing than month-to-month. The longer commit also lets you genuinely integrate into the community rather than perpetually being the new person.
